When she was a little girl, Marianne used to make movies with her dad’s handycam, asking her friends and family to follow her instructions, like a director. This passion led her to Film School, where she learned about filmmaking and also about herself.

After graduating she moved to Caracas and for the last 4 years, Marianne worked as a Writer for a Television Series and as Assistant Director in several Venezuela's internationally recognized feature films such as: "La Familia" (Semaine de la critique - Cannes Film Festival 2017), "El Amparo" (Official Selection - Horizontes Latinos Festival de San Sebastián 2016), and "The Night of Two Moons" (in post-production) directed by Miguel Ferrari ('Blue and Not So Pink', Goya Award 2014 Best Latin American Film).

In 2017 she premiered "SALTA" (Dive) at the Tribeca Film Festival, a very sensitive and personal short film, obtaining the Jury’s Mention for the Student Visionary Award. It also won “Best Short Film" in the 20 Pink Apple Festival in Switzerland. Nowadays 'SALTA' have been screened in India, Panama, Mexico, Spain, France, Chile, and several states from the USA nd it’s available on Prime Video.
